Consultations

Service Description

As part of the therapeutic process, it is important for your psychologist to collaborate with others to support your child's progress. This may include the child's parent, teacher, school wellbeing leaders or past professionals involved with the young person's development. Permissions to engage in these consultations is sought prior to starting therapy. Sometimes, it can be helpful to schedule a school visit or observation of the child in their usual environment. Consultations with other professionals in these environments or 1:1 parenting support may be needed to improve child outcomes.
